Whoever at Konami was responsible for the extreme power creep over the years, to the point that OTK decks exists and are rampant - you're genuinely a bunch of scumbags. There's a lot of overpowered shit but much of it can be countered. I hated most of this, but I've come to realise that obviously the game has evolved. I've learned about all the new shit floodgates, back row removal, meta decks, etc. I got back into Yu-Gi-Oh! last year having not played it since I was a kid.
